PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended cabinet enabling enhancement of work efficiency at the time of mounting a luminaire thereon. SOLUTION: This cabinet is equipped with a cabinet body 11 and a plurality of shelf boards 16 mounted in the cabinet body 11, and a light transmitting part is formed at the lowest shelf board 16A of the plurality of shelf boards 16. A luminaire 22 is installed on an upper surface of the lowest shelf board 16A, and the light from the luminaire 22 is irradiated to the underside of the lowest shelf board 16A through the light transmitting part. This arrangement eliminates the need for forming a recess in an under surface of the cabinet as in the past, and the light transmitting part can be formed irrespective of the shape of the luminaire 22. Accordingly, it is no longer needed to make a recess in the under surface of the cabinet accurately after the shape of the luminaire as in the past. |
