摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-quality electrode superior in planarity and having no distortion or the like remaining therein by being provided with a mechanism or a means capable of automatically, mechanically, and selectively forming incisions at required intervals in non-coated areas of a current-collector layer. SOLUTION: A conveying mechanism 2 comprises a roller-type cutter 3 and a roller-type bearer 4, their rotation serving as a drive source, and also guide rollers, and runs and conveys a belt-like electrode 1 in a fixed direction, while making required incisions 1c in active-material non-coated parts 1b' thereof by the roller-type cutter 3 and the roller-type bearer 4. The roller-type bearer 4 elastically and repulsively sandwiches the belt-like electrode 1 between itself and cutter blades 3a formed on surfaces of the roller-type cutter 3 in order to cause it to run, while it receives or supports the pressure exerted by the cutter blades 3 of the roller-type cutter blade 3 for making the required incisions in the active material non-coated parts 1b' of the belt-like electrode 1.
