PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flat cable from being damaged by a connector mounted on the midway of the flat cable. SOLUTION: A plurality of connection terminals 1 having the sticking portions 1a on their point side, are retained in the retaining holes 3a of a terminal holding body 3 in a state the sticking portions 1a are projected. The connection terminals 1 corresponding to a unit cable 9 at both ends of the flat cable 7 are not inserted into the retaining holes 3a at both ends. A pressure body 5 comprises locking sides 5a at both sides, and further comprises the insertion holes 5b in which the sticking portions 1a of the connection terminals 1 are inserted, and the suppressing portions 5c where the unit cables 9 are fitted. When the flat cable 7 is placed on the sticking portions 1a of the connection terminals 1, and a pressure body 5 is pressed to be locked to the terminal holding body 3, the sticking portions 1a are sticked to an insulating coating 9b of the unit cable 9, and electrically pressure welded to the core wires 9a. |
