PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting secret information in image forming process of a dye diffusion method and an output method which is applied after converting the image information on a diffusion transfer silver halide photographic sensitive material into digital information. SOLUTION: In the image forming process that an image is formed on an image receiving material by exposing the diffusion transfer silver halide photographic sensitive material to light, which has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, and then, after superposing the image receiving material, heating them, the image informations on the diffusion transfer silver halide photographic sensitive material is treated so that the image informations can not be diciphered, after completion of the formation of the image.
