PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic information recording and reading device in which an excellent head touch can be obtained and proper magnetic recording and magnetic reading can be executed. SOLUTION: By nipping a photographic film 4 by a film supporting plate 30 provided with head auxiliary parts 44 and 45 having identical curved surfaces to a recording head 33 and a reading head 34 and wrapping rollers 35-37, a curl curved in the longitudinal direction is formed on the film 4 to prevent the occurrence of a gutter-like curl. Since the tub-like curl can be compensated by the curl of the film 4 in the longitudinal direction, the excellent heat touch is attained. Thus, information is surely recorded on a magnetic recording layer and surely read from it.
