PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from entering through a panel opening by bringing into contact a cover composed of a plurality of parts turnable in joints to different planes between a first and second states of a cartridge being inserted and ejected. SOLUTION: When a disc cartridge 3 has been inserted, a cover 6a contacts a plane B of a protrusion 4, and when the disc cartridge 3 is ejected, it moves in a direction E toward an opening of the cover, the end face of the disc cartridge 3 pushes the cover 6 and cover 6a in a direction V, the covers 6, 6a being freely turnable in joints 8 and the cover 6a is pushed out over the protrusion 4 to the outside of a front panel. After the ejection of the disc cartridge to outside the apparatus ends and disc cartridge is ejected, the cover 6a contacts a plane C of the protrusion 4. By the above operation, in either state, an opening 9 for inserting and ejecting the disc cartridge is with the covers 6, 6a normally contacting the protrusion 4.
