PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high capacity electric double-layer capacitor capable of extracting large current and improving energy density. SOLUTION: A low-density polarized electrode 10, having the density in the large of 0.50 to 0.70 g/cm3 provided by mixing and sintering an active carbon powder and phenol resin and a high-density polarized electrode 9 having a density in the large of 0.60 to 0.75 g/cm3 provided by mixing and sintering the active carbon powder and phenol resin are laminated, and made into a polarized electrode and arranged on both the sides of a separator 2, and a current collector 3 is arranged outside the high-densitypolarized electrode 9. |
