PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent function parts other than a heating component from being affected by heat from the heating component by dividedly mounting respective main function parts. SOLUTION: On a main printed circuit board, this device is provided with a first optical module for converting optical and electric signals, WDM module, extension electronic circuit package 24 which loads electronic components and further is inserted through a first opening into a housing 2, and power source package 34 inserted through a second opening to the housing 2. On the extension electronic circuit package 24, a second optical module is loaded for converting optical and electric signals. An excessive optical cable processing drum 22 is loaded on the upper surface of the housing, excessive length processing is performed by winding a subscriber optical cable around the excessive optical cable processing drum and further, excessive length processing is performed by winding a terminal optical cable connected to terminal equipment around the excessive optical cable processing drum 22. |
