PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process only a data code intended by an operator even when plural data codes are simultaneously read out. SOLUTION: When the possibility of simultaneously reading out plural bar codes arranged adjacently to each other is high, which bar code is to be read out is specified by depressing a left trigger key LT or a right trigger key RT. Then a CPU discriminates whether plural bar codes are simultaneously read out or not based on bar code information for one scanning transferred from a laser controller, and at the time of discriminating the simultaneous reading of plural bar codes, decodes only the bar code existing on the position indicated by the left trigger key LT or the right trigger key RT as valid data. |
