PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the utilization efficiency of a map display device utilizing a computer. SOLUTION: A user is able to draw arbitrary user graphics, such as icons 65, 67, a segment 69 and a polygon 71 at a desired place on a map window 21 displayed by a computer. Further, the user can link actions, such as, for example, opening of an image file, opening of a home page of the internet and execution of a program, to the respective user graphics 65, 67, 69, 71. When the user clicks the desired user graphics, the action linked thereto is automatically executed. The user information linking the user graphics and the action can be uploaded to the information server on the internet. In addition, the downloading of various kinds of the user information uploaded to the information server is possible. The user graphics of the downloaded user information is automatically developed on the map. |
