PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and produce a piezoelectric oscillator. SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric oscillator formed of a crystal oscillation board 1, a recessed container 108 storing the crystal oscillation board 1 and a cover for sealing the opening part of the container, the crystal oscillation board 1 has a form that two corners in a rectangular form are cut. A crystal oscillator is constituted so that conduction adhesive 112 is applied to the end parts of the cut parts and both parts are fixed at the time of storing the crystal oscillation board 1 in the container 108. Thus, the crystal oscillator can be miniaturized by making the loading area of the crystal oscillation board 1 small.
