PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork-type vibration gyro for preventing a tuning- fork-type vibrator from being broken by an external vibration or shock with a compact configuration. SOLUTION: The tuning-fork-type vibrator 1 with two arms 2 and 3 and a base 4 is supported by a support substrate 6 being provided at a stem 5, and a rocking-limiting member 21 consisting of an annular rubber-shaped elastic body is provided while fixing its one surface to the stem 5 so that the base 4 is surrounded. When a vibration or shock is applied externally, the tuning-fork- type vibrator 1 is vibrated according to the vibration or the shock. However, the rocking width of the tuning-fork-type vibrator 1 is limited by the presence of the rocking-limiting member 21, thus preventing the tuning-fork-type vibrator 1 from hitting against a member around the stem 5, a cap 9, or the like and hence preventing gyro characteristics from being lost and gyro functions from being lost since drive vibration stops. |
