PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmitter with selectable transmission output power that provides a minimally necessary heat dissipation device corresponding to the selection of transmission output power. SOLUTION: A heat sink 4 whose surface area is freely variable is attached to the transmitter and the heat sink 4 is extended and exposed to air so as to attain a surface area required to dissipate generated heat at a power output for the time. The transmitter is provided with a means that controls so as to select any one of transmission output power among a plurality of transmission output power provisions in interlocking with the surface area of the heat sink 4 in this case. Thus, the transmitter with a minimum size having a minimally necessary heat dissipation amount corresponding to transmission output power is realized.
