PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic-wave shielding material for a display which can exhibit both electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting properties and can provide an excellent clear image property, by arbitrarily controlling a highly-thin mesh pattern. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive layer 52 (or adhesive layer) is formed on at least one of surfaces of a metal-foil mesh layer 3a having a predetermined mesh pattern. Since an open area ratio of the mesh pattern can be arbitrarily set, electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting properties can be both realized and openings of the mesh pattern can be associated with pixels to hold a clear image.
