PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of the function of a camera and a long title by a voice, in a camera whose function is complex like a camera dealing with APS and which is capable of recording a title, etc., in the magnetic recording region of a film. SOLUTION: The camera or camera system is provided with a display device 200 for short displaying information on the function of the camera and a photographed scene with a character, a graphic, a mark, etc., a voice synthesizer 260 for informing the user of the information on the function of the camera and the photographed scene by the voice and a magnetic head 311 for recording the information on the photographed scene (photographing date, title, etc.), in the recording region of the film. In the camera or camera system, the voice synthesizer, a language selecting device and a sounding body are provided and it is constituted so that the information on the control mode (function) of the camera and the photographed scene (the photographing date, the title, etc.), are informed by the voice. Thus, the user can know the contents of the instruction for use, etc., of the camera, without referring to them.
