PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device constituted in such a manner that the work of end-sealing and closing a liquid crystal injection part with a resin may be exactly and easily carried out and a liquid crystal injection defect may be discovered in the case of such work. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes a one substrate 20 which is provided with a metallic reflection film, another substrate 21 which is arranged to face this substrate 20 and an end-sealing material 22 which is interposed between a pair of the substrates 20, 21 and encloses the liquid crystal injection space formed between the substrates together with the substrates 20, 21 and the liquid crystals which are sealed into the liquid crystal injection space. The liquid crystal injection part 26 is formed at the end-sealing material 22 and a plurality of electrodes for display are formed on the substrates surface within the region where the liquid crystals are sealed. The portions of the one substrate 20 on the outer side of the electrode forming regions for display described above and includes the injection part 26 of the end-sealing material describe above are provided with the regions where the metallic reflection film 31 is not formed.
