PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a survey marker which reduces the burden on workers carrying things in mountains, etc., and is superior in strength. SOLUTION: The survey marker is made of a material composed of a synthetic resin as a main component and mixed with auxiliary materials of smaller in specific gravity than that of the main component. The marker body 1 has a plurality of large-diameter parts 11 of a large overall size disposed longitudinally, small-diameter parts 12 formed between the large-diameter parts 11 and below the lower layer of the large-diameter parts 11, and a mount 13 provided at the lower ends of the lowest layer of the small-diameter parts 12. On the top of the marker body 1 a metal-made marker rivet 3 hard to corrosion is provided and usually a cross-shaped reference point is marked on the center of the surface. A survey machine 2 is removably mounted on the mount 13 at the lower end of the marker body 1 and made of the same material as the marker body 1, and a crystal oscillator 21 is incorporated in the survey machine as a surveying function.
