SLAG CRYSTALLIZING CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a slag crystallizing conveyor for crystallizing the slag of an ash melting furnace at a low cost. SOLUTION: A crystallizing conveyor 2 for crystallizing the slag of a melting furnace is provided with a conveyor main body 12 therein. A plurality of pans 8 for housing the slag 11 to move in the crystallizing conveyor 2 are connected to the conveyor main body 12. An endless chain 9 for driving the conveyor main body 12 is adjacent to and along the crystallizing conveyor 2. The endless chain 9 is a nonheat resistant chain. A combustion burner 15a for heating the slag 11 is provided above a casing 10. The crystallizing conveyor 2 is provided with an exhaust port 16 for exhausting gas in the casing 10. The exhaust port 16 is provided with a damper 18 and a conveyor exhaust fan 19 through a piping 17.
