PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device capable of displaying plural images on one screen by a receiving part and a video compression part. SOLUTION: A receiving part 2 receives signals from plural channels. A control part 6 controls a channel tuned by the receiving part 2. A video compression part 4 compresses plural video signals outputted from the receiving part 2. A video composition part 7 synthesizes plural video signals outputted from the video compression part 4. A control part 6 controls the switching of channels received by the receiving part 2 within unit time in accordance with the number of images displayed on one screen of a display part 8 and distributes the number of fields to be entered at each unit time in accordance with the size of images displayed on the screen.
