PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small sized light weight loud speaker system where rocking of a small sized light weight speaker box is prevented and a low frequency sound is reproduced excellently with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The speaker system is provided with a speaker 3 that is fitted to a baffle plate 2 in front of a speaker box 1 and with a vibrating body 21 with a comparatively large mass adhered to the speaker 3 via an elastic body 20. A sound radiation force F1 of this speaker 3 is cancelled with an operating force F2 opposite to the sound radiation direction of the vibrating body 21 that is generated by using a reaction force -F1 in the opposite direction to the sound radiation direction of the speaker 3 as a driving force and with a mass M2 of the vibrating body 21 so as to avoid rocking of the speaker box 1 by sound radiation.
