PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of changing magnification with good operability without causing the divergence of focus even though an insertion part is bent. SOLUTION: A zoom lens 41 is provided in a moving lens frame 52 in an objective optical system unit 33 provided at the tip part of the insertion part 6 and the rotation of a motor 84 in an operation part 7 is transmitted through a flexible wire 59. A connector 60 at the tip of the wire 59 is rotatably supported at the tip part, and a male screw part provided in the connector 60 is screwed in a screw hole at the projection part of the frame 52 so as to rotate the motor 84 by the operation of a zoom switch 15, then the frame 52 is moved in the optical axis direction of the lens 41 through the wire 59 and the like so that the magnification is easily set to the desired one.
