DATA INTERPOLATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data interpolation method by which arithmetic operation quantity can be reduced and a stop error does not occur. SOLUTION: Prescribed step functions are generated in four step function generation parts 10-1 to 10-4. Multiplication parts 12-1 to 12-4 multiply the values of the step functions, which are outputted from the corresponding step function generation parts 10-1 to 10-4 by the values of discrete data which are circularly held by data holding parts 11-1 to 11-4. An addition part 14 adds respective multiplication results outputted from the respective multiplication parts 12-1 to 12-4 correspondingly to four discrete data. The added value is integrated twice by integration operation parts 16 and 18. An interpolation value between discrete data is outputted from the integration operation part 18 in a post stage.
