PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic liquid developer capable of developing at a high speed, capable of restraining a change in toner chargeability with the lapse of time, capable of restraining the deterioration of an image quality, the image concentration and a developing speed with the lapse of time and excellent in preserving quality. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic liquid developer by dispersing a toner in an electrically insulating carrier liquid, the electrophotographic liquid developer is constituted in such a way that the toner has a boron salt containing compound on the inside and/or the surface as a charge imparting agent and the carrier liquid has an aniline point of 80 deg.C to 100 deg.C.
