PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the white balance measurement instrument where an image pickup device photographs a video image displayed on a display device to be measured to accurately measure white balance of the display device to be measured. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 3 photographs a video image displayed on a display device to be measured 1 and outputs a color signal. A standard measurement instrument 5 measures a color signal from the video image displayed on the display device to be measured 1. A calculation device 7 calculates respective crosstalk ratios when a red signal, a green signal and a blue signal are given to the display device to be measured 1 and crosstalk included in a color signal outputted by the image pickup device 3 is eliminated when a white signal is given to the display device to be measured 1 by using the calculated crosstalk ratios and the color signal outputted from the standard measurement instrument 5 when the white signal is given to the display device to be measured 1 so as to calculate the color signal of the video image displayed on the display device to be measured 1.
