PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain media where contents are recorded and to make confirmable the contents at an arbitrary place by enabling many and unspecified persons to obtain (purchase) recording media to which desired contents are downloaded using arbitrarily. SOLUTION: The download device 1 is arranged in a place where many and unspecified persons are able to use it to some extent, e.g. a store, a station, a shock, a company, etc. Each user can download desired contents to a disk 90 or IC card 91 as a removable record medium by using the download device 1. Then contents of electronic newspaper, an electronic magazine, etc., are downloaded to the disk 90 or IC card 91 and then the user is able to view and listen to the contents by user's own personal computer, portable reproducing device, etc. A server 2 provides update data periodically or irregularly through a communication line 3. |
