摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient regenerative signals even with the information recorded at recording bit diameters smaller than heretofore and small recording bit intervals. SOLUTION: A recording layer 3 and a magnetic flux regulation layer 4 vary in magnetic polarities and the magnetization is offset at room temp., by which a weakened leak magnetic flux 70' is generated. A reproducing layer 1, a reproduction assistance layer 10 and an intra- surface magnetization layer 9 are in an intra-surface magnetization state. The reproducing layer 1 is in the intra-surface magnetization state and the magnetization of a recording magnetic domain 71a is not transferred to the reproducing layer 1 in a first temp. region 61 which is the temp. below the critical temp. of the reproducing layer 1. The magnetic flux regulation layer 4 and the intra-surface magnetization layer 9 attain a Curie temp. or above and the magnetization is annihilated in a second temp. region 62 which is the temp. from the critical temp. to the Curie point of the reproducing layer 1. The leak magnetic flux 70 generated by the magnetization of the recording magnetic domain 71b is then transferred to the reproduction assistance layer 10 which is in the perpendicularly magnetized state. This flux is further transferred as the magnetic domain 71b' to the reproducing layer 1. The magnetization is annihilated in the reproducing layer 1 in a third temp. region which is the temp. above the Curie temp. of the reproducing layer 1.
