PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a fault recovery while guaranteeing the reliability of data of a transaction process when a check point/rollback system is applied to the transaction process. SOLUTION: The transaction processing process 12 executes a transaction in response to a transaction processing request from a client process 21. A check point/rollback control part 11 generates a check point periodically and rolls the transaction processing process 12 back to the latest check point state at need to restart the process. A commitment control part 13 delays the issue of a transaction completion notice to be sent from the transaction processing process 12 to the client process 21 until the check point of the transaction processing process 12 is generated when the transaction is committed.
