PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely check the interference of equipments in a plant operation state. SOLUTION: The design aiding device is provided with a three-dimensional(3 D) hot model generating condition storing part 2 for storing a condition for generating a 3D hot model from a 3D cold model, a 3D hot model generating means 4 for generating the 3D hot model based on the 3D cold model and the 3D hot model generating condition, an interference checking means 6 for checking interference between the 3D hot model generated by the means 4 and the 3D cold model, a display judging means 9 for storing the processing result of the means 6 in each model sort of the hot model or the cold model, calculating a difference between the 3D cold model interference checking result and the 3D hot model interference checking result and outputting the difference together with the 3D hot model, and an output means 10 for displaying or printing out the output of the means 9.
