摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer lithium ion secondary battery which is superior in high-temperature storage characteristic with a small reduction in capacity by high-temperature storage. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a polymer lithium ion secondary battery, using a transition metal oxide containing lithium as the active material for a positive electrode 1 and a carbonic material as the active material for a negative electrode 2, the polymer lithium ion secondary battery is manufactured through a step of thermally treating it at 60-90 deg.C with an opening voltage of 3.6 V or less, after the battery is assembled. The time for the thermal treatment is preferably set to 0.5-8 hours.
