PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a probability to require a payment stop by permitting prepaid balance and a part of or the whole of electronic money balance to be paid with the input of a password as a condition at the time of shortage in prepaid balance in its payment. SOLUTION: When a payment by prepaid balance is designated, it is judged whether a transaction money amount is equal to below prepaid balance or not (S206). When the transaction money amount exceeds the balance, guide display is executed to select whether electronic money balance is paid or not (S208). When a key which indicates that electronic money balance is paid is depressed (S209), guide display to input the password is executed. When the inputted password coincides with the stored one, it is judged whether the total sum of prepaid balance and electronic money balance is more than the transaction amount or not. Then, a settlement is executed when their total sum is more than the transaction amount. |
