PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3-dimensional picture photographing device which can photograph a 3-dimensional picture with precision without depending on an object. SOLUTION: Projectors 4 and 6 for projecting coded pattern, cameras 1 and 2 for photographing the pattern projected from the optical axis direction of each projector, and a camera 3 which photographs the pattern projected in a different direction from the optical axis direction of each projector, are provided. The change amount of the photographed patterns by the cameras 1 and 2 relative to the projected pattern is judged to be equal to a specified value or above by region division parts 29 and 33, and if it is equal to that or above, a new code is assigned by re-coding parts 30 and 34. At code decoding parts 31 and 35, the distance information is generated from the photographed pattern by the camera 3 using the assigned code, and at a distance information consolidating part 38, a 3-dimensional image is obtained based on the brightness information obtained from the camera 3 and the distance information.
