PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a smooth seal-welding between a tube and a tube sheet, by automatically positioning each hole of the tube sheet comprising multiple holes by a 3-axis NC device. SOLUTION: This is a tube-hole automatic working method wherein a 3-axis NC device (tube sheet distance direction-Z axis, tube sheet surface direction-X/Y axes directions) is moved and controlled for automatic positioning to each hole of the tube sheet comprising multiple tube holes, to perform seal-welding between the tube and the tube sheet and other works. Here, after the NC device is temporalily positioned to an assumed tube hole position of the tube hole which is to be worked by seal-welding, etc., the objective tube hole is image- recognized with a CCD camera to the NC device, and after the recognition image is image- processed on an image process device side, the displacement relative to the assumed hole position is calculated and transmitted to the NC device side, and after a movement correction corresponding to the displacement amount is performed on the NC device side, the tube hole is worked with the working device, and then, the operation is repeated based on the assumed hole position information shifted by the next objective tube hole pitch from the tube hole information at that work, for working with the next objective tube hole.
