PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a troublesome telephone call prevention system for eliminating the effect of a malicious telephone call or the like by judging whether it is necessary for a callee to answer the telephone call or not without taking up a receiver. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a message transmitting means 1 for transmitting a prescribed message to a caller with call origination, speaker 2 for sounding a response from the caller to the message without taking up the receiver and line disconnecting means 3 for disconnecting a line after the lapse of prescribed time as long as the caller does not take up the receiver. It is preferable that the response from the caller is recorded and the contents are repeatedly reproduced from the speaker.
