<p>Recycling and preparation of plastics involves heat treating a mixture including fatty acids, fatty acid derivatives or fatty alcohols and also a crosslinking additive. Recycling and preparation of plastics, their mixtures and plastic materials comprises: (a) mixing a polymer (A) comprising new polymer(s), processed polymer(s), used polymer(s) and optionally sorted polymer waste with an additive (Z) from fatty acids, fatty acids containing mixtures of natural or synthetic origin, including fatty acid derivatives and fatty alcohols and also a crosslinking additive (V); (b) mixing, kneading or pressing the obtained mixture and subjecting to multistage heat treatment where the temperature at each stage is 60-400 deg C; and (c) further treating or molding. Independent claims are also included for the obtained material and the use of a crosslinker from (in)organic peroxides, particularly hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen peroxide-releasing peroxide compounds and crosslinking, particularly unsaturated, monomers, oligomers and polymers, preferably vinyl chloride copolymers and acrylic polymers in combination with fatty acids, fatty acid-containing mixtures, fatty acid derivatives and fatty alcohols, particularly diesel, linseed or corn oil.</p> |
