The valve is arranged in a coolant circuit for expansion of a coolant and has a coolant passage (11), a valve seat (200a) dividing the coolant passage into high (10) and low (14) pressure chambers, a valve body (201) movable in the high pressure chamber to adjust the coolant flow in conjunction with the valve seat, a controller (205-208) of the valve body movement in response to the coolant temperature, a seat part (209) and a pressure arrangement (210). The seat part containing the valve seat is movable between the high and low pressure chambers in the coolant flow direction. The pressure arrangement is connected to the seat part and forces it towards the high pressure chamber.
