The invention relates to an apparatus for making effervescent bath or carbon dioxide bath, having a water inlet (1) for connecting to communal or other water supply system, and having a mixing means for introducing gas in water by at least partial absorption, and the apparatus is adapted to place in a water containing vessel during its operation. The apparatus comprises a mixing pipe (2) and an attached mixing head (5) provided with at least one conical baffle (6) and to which mixing pipe (2) connected to the water inlet (1) furthermore a carbonic dioxide container (4) is adapted through a reducing valve (3).
