Individual intake channels are connected to a collection intake channel via an intake opening. The intake opening (6) is adjustable in direction of the intake flange (2) resp. the engine cylinders via a sliding wall section (7). The upper and lower edges of the wall section are guided in slots. The slots follow the contours (11) of the individual intake channels. The sliding wall section consists of an elastically formable band section (12) with drop-shaped intake contour (13) formed by a loop (14).
