<p>A method is described for the production of a tubular knitted article on a circular knitting machine, in which a needle cylinder knits said tubular article (M) beginning at an initial end and finishing at a final end. At the end of the knitting of said tubular article, the latter is partly released from the needles (5), engaged by transfer members (21, 23) and then released completely from the needles and transferred to means for closing said second end.</p> |
