Washing machine for esp. curved glass plates

The washing machine has housing supports (25) on which the plates (27) are held horizontally as they pass through the machine, and a transport arrangement (22,23) that slides the plates onto the supports. The supports and transport arrangement define a plate path, with washing liquid dispensing nozzles and brush rollers (5,9) in opposing pairs with a core carrying a bristle pile. Apertures are formed in the pile so that the two rollers of a pair engage each other with bristles of one roller engaging apertures in the other.
