A METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE FILL-TIMES OF MACHINES

A method for predicting fill times in coin operated machines. The method is executable on a processor and includes the steps of modeling a prior belief of previously observed data and integrating the modeled prior belief (410) with the observed data. Bayes' theorem is used as an empirical approach (424) and non-empirical approach (426) to integrate the modeled prior belief with the observed data.
