The invention concerns an equipment and a method for passing a paer/board web into a pulper. The equipment comprises a needle-nozzle pipe (22) in connection with a roll (13), out of which needle-nozzle pipe needle-like water jets are applied into connection with the paper/board web (W) when the web is passed into the pulper, and the web is disrupted by means of the needle-like jets.
