An aluminum blank (2) is anodized in an anodic oxidation bath blended with nitrate ions together with sulfuric acid in order to form a porous anodized film having new functions such as electrical conductivity on the surface of the aluminum blank with a high productivity. A metal (7) such as silver or a silver compound is electrodeposited from an electrodeposition bath after the anodic oxidation without the necessity for dissolving and removing the barrier layer from the bottom (6) of each pore (3) of the porous anodized film (1) separately.
