The invention relates to a garment for covering at least part of the body of the person wearing the garment. The garment comprises a first and a second leg part (30, 32) having one leg opening (34, 36) each and an upper opening (16). The garment can be separated along a first and a second continuous separating line. The first separating line runs from the leg opening (34) of the first leg part (30) along the first leg part (30) as far as the upper opening (16) of the garment. The second separating line runs from the leg opening (36) of the second leg part (32) along the second leg part (32). Said garment has first and second closing means (38, 40) by means of which the garment can be held together along the first or second separating line. The second separating line independently of the first separating line extends from the first leg opening (36) of the second leg part (32) to the leg opening (34) of the first leg part (30). The garment can be a pair of trousers, in which case the aforementioned upper opening is an opening at the level of the hips. The garment can also be an overall comprising a top part (10) and a lower part (12), in which case the upper opening is a neck opening (16) in the top part (10). |
