MOBILE TERMINAL, LOCATOR, SYSTEM USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF LOCATING MOBILE TERMINAL

The person to locate a mobile terminal carries a locator (16) and comes close to a mobile terminal (17). Then, a request to switch to a transceiver mode is sent to the mobile terminal (17) through an ordinary PHS line (#1). Direct communication can be conducted (#2) between the locator (16) and the mobile terminal (17) in the transceiver mode. By measuring the intensity of radio wave in the communication, the mobile terminal (17) can be located. As a result, a locating system for precisely locating a mobile terminal by using a small zone communication system is realized.
