<p>Disclosed is an emergency stabilization system for track-bound vehicles, especially passenger trains. The inventive system comprises stabilization struts (28, 80) that cooperate with the frame (20) of the railway carriage (10) and are adjusted in such a way that they stabilize the train mechanically, especially in the case of an emergency in which the stability of the moving train is challenged. Longitudinal rigidity can be provided for the entire train. Disastrous z-shaped telescoping of railway carriages is thus prevented.</p> |
