Biaxially oriented hollow parts based on statistical propylene terpolymers and process for their preparation

Bi=oriented hollow bodied materials obtained from terpolymer of propylene contain 83-97.5wt.% units derived from propylene; 0.5-5wt.% units derived from ethylene; and 2-12wt.% units derived from 1-butene; said terpolymer has melting point = 120-150 degrees C and is degraded by a free radical generator, the degradation factor, A = MFIg divided by MFIi where MFIg = fluidity of degraded terpolymer and MFIi = fluidity of initial terpolymer = 1.5-10. Independent claims are also included for method for making said material; and use of said material for packaging detergents, cosmetics, medicines and foodstuffs.
