LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR COMPRESSOR USING HFC-134A AS COOLING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having an excellent property for sealing the high pressure/low pressure portions of cooling medium compressors and having an excellent oil-returning property in the real machines by compounding an alkylbenzene having a branched chain and a mineral oil in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition useful for compressors using a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC-134a) as a cooling medium contains (A) 1-60 pts.wt. of an alkylbenzene having a branched chain and (B) 99-40 pts.wt. of a mineral oil preferably having a viscosity of <=50,000 mm2/s at -20 deg.C.
