PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for removing color cosmetic which has an improved face-washing specific characteristic and an excellent washing specific characteristic and gives improved touch to skin after being washed by including a hydrocarbon, water, a thickener, silica and fatty acid ester in specific proportions. SOLUTION: This composition includes (A) 1-50 wt.% of a hydrocarbon (suitably liquid petrolactum, (B) 1-90 wt.% of water, (C) 0.0001-5 wt.% of a thickener (suitably Carbomer), (D) 0.1-5 wt.% of silica (suitably 0.1-100μm in the average particle size and (E) 0.1-30 wt.% of an alkoxylated glyceryl 12-22C fatty acid ester (suitably a fatty acid triester). Further, it is favorable that the ester is selected from the group substantially consisting of POE (3) glycerol triisostearate and POE (5) hydrogenated castor oil triisostearate.
