PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinked particle dispersion containing crosslinked particles easy to add to and mix with resin compositions and excellent in dispersibility and curing properties for resin modification and a curable resin composition using this dispersion. SOLUTION: This dispersion is a crosslinked particle organic solvent dispersion obtained by dispersing crosslinked particles (A) having an average particle diameter (ϕn) of the primary particles of 30-500 nm and a Tg of not higher than 0 deg.C, when rendered in the dry state, into an organic solvent (B) having an SP value of 7.5-12.5, and the average particle diameter (ϕd) of crosslinked particles (A) in the dispersion is not greater that 150% of the average particle diameter (ϕn). Further, a desired curable resin composition can be prepared by using this dispersion and forms a cured product in which not less than 70% of the number of crosslinked particles (A) contained in the composition are dispersed as the primary particles. By using this resin composition can be obtained cured products improved in toughness and adhesion due to crosslinked particles (A) and, simultaneously, excellent in heat resistance.
