PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcove kit and its assembling method capable of invariably obtaining a stable finish without requiring special technique for fitting and having a good external appearance. SOLUTION: This alcove kit is provided with pillars, floor boards, beams, partition materials and wall boards machined in advance. A ceiling surface is formed with a ceiling section, a floor surface is formed with the floor boards, one side face is formed with a wall section 1 or the partition material, and a small wall face is formed with the wall board. The opening peripheral edge section of an opening section 10a is formed with the beams and pillars, a decorative pillar is used for at least one of the pillars forming the opening peripheral edge section, the pillar includes a mullion member 11 arranged on the wall section 1 and an alcove post member 12 as the decorative pillar, and a coupling section of the beam and the floor board is formed on the mullion member 11. Coupling sections of the partition material, beam, floor board, wall board, ceiling section and underfloor face are formed on the alcove post member 12, a coupling section of the mullion member 11 and underfloor face is formed on the floor board, and the coupling section of the mullion member 11 and alcove post member 12 is formed at both end sections of the beam. This alcove 10 is assembled with the pillars machined, floor boards, beams, partition materials and wall boards machined in advance.
